First of all...how do you like my new look?!? Thanks the fabulous Tricia I have a new blog design. I absolutely love it! I told her a couple things I was wanting and she created this look and it's exactly like I imagined. She's so great to work with!
A couple weekends ago, our sweet family of 3 headed up north to visit our BFFs Patrick, Courtney and Ethan. Patrick was getting ordained that Sunday and we made a weekend of it.
On our way down we stopped for lunch in Sugar Land and to do a little shopping.
Hudson had so much fun in Barnes n Noble. We of course had to get a few books for him.
He really doesn't care what the books are about right now. As long as they taste good.
We ate lunch at Cheesecake Factory. We love the baby plates they have and Hudson could eat his weight in bananas and bread. He was of course a flirt during lunch and charmed everyone around us.
My sweet lunch dates.
After lunch we went to TIRR to visit Caleb and his family. Caleb was in a serious skiing accident at the beginning of January. He was in Denver for about a month in the hospital and was recently transferred to TIRR in Houston for rehab and therapy. The Lord is doing amazing things in Caleb's life.
Sweet friends eating dinner together.
And eating saltines. This was Hudson's first time and he LOVED them! He ate about 5 and even stole a few from Ethan.
these pictures are way out of order but I'm over it...
Saturday morning we went to get donuts from Shipley's and then to Starbucks for coffee. Hudson had his first taste of donuts and needless to say he loved them.
Me and my sweet boy goofing off.
Saturday we had lunch at a fun hamburger place...of course the boys were only interested in the cars going by.
Moms with their sweet boys.
This is in Patrick and Courtney's backyard...they live in an amazing neighborhood!
BFFs in Target
And of course the weekend included games...our new favorite which we now already own...Quelf!
Sunday Patrick was ordained in a very special and meaningful service. Unfortunately John started feeling bad during the service so we left pretty quickly afterwards and didn't get any pictures.
Thanks guys for such a fun weekend!
